Bottled. An amber mead with gold chunks floating around - looking expensive. The aroma has intensive notes of honey, rose hips, and spices. The flavor is sweet with strong notes honey and alcohol, as well as medium rose hips and spices, leading to a dry finish. The alcohol burns the tongue. So this is what gold tastes like.

Courtesy of Papsø, it comes in a 100ml tiny bottle
Blend of Napoleon Brandy, Honey Wine and 23 carat gold flakes

Amber color. The aroma is alcoholic, with a touch of fruits and brandy; nice but not much to do with mead. The flavor is sweet, but more like the sweetness from sugar than from honey, with light flavor of sweet apple juice and light brandy; the sweetness allows the alcohol to hide. I couldn’t taste the gold ;-)
Weird.

Bottle 10 cl. Pours a clear deep golden. Intense aroma of almonds, syrup and honey with loads of booze. Solid body, sticky sweet again loads of almonds and booze. Hot, hot - but very delicious. Crazy expensive since it has gold flakes in the bottle - no kidding! 010810
