Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, minimal brown head. Aroma of chocolate syrup and coffee. Very sweet with full body and stocky mouthfeel. Treacle and syrup, chocolate sauce and coffee. Warming, mildly bitter finish. Simplistic ice cream topping style pastry. Still it beats the majority of the comptetition.

Thanks fonefan! Black colour, tiny head. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate syrup, some mild alcohol with a bit wood too. Flavour is sweet chocolate syrup, plum pudding, a bit wood as well as some liquorice and alcohol as well. Sweet.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some smoked wooden notes with mild grains. Flavour is liquorice, very sweet smoked wooden tones, alcohol and some smoked fishy elements. Extremely complex flavour after the quite non-saying aroma.

From bottle @ Pien Shop. Poured pitch black, no head. Oily mouthfeel. Brandy, cloying sweetness, boozy and roasty. Thick, too sweet to be really enjoyable.

ABV: 13.5%. Clear dark black colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is heavy malty, chocolate, coffee, dark malt, wood, alcohol - bourbon. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, barrel - wood - vanilla, apple sweet, chocolate - coffee, bourbon - vanilla. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210922]

Sample from bottle @ Pien, Helsinki. Sweet, heavy and roasty and slightly syrupy with loads of bourbon, vanilla, coffee and brandy notes, some fudge, oak and wood. Quite balanced.
