Taster at Timber Creek. Near black pour, silky beige head. Light roasty aroma with notes of chocolate. Taste is toasty, coffee, sweet. Really smooth

Nice and dark. Smells like black coffee and the first taste is of black coffee. This is a stronger porter laced with coffee of course. Cannot detect the chocolate in this one. Barely any co2. Leaves your mouth with a taste like coffee and old damp partially burnt campfire wood. Not bad overall.

Bomber thanks to Dan. Pours a dark mahogany color with a large beige head. A sweet smoky light roasted malt nose. The flavor is nice: sweet caramel, bready, hell I get chocolate jello pudding, smoke, some sweet metallic notes. A solid porter. Very good actually.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a large foamy dark tan head that left great lacing. The aroma was dry, roasty, woody and had a strong coffee element. The flavor was bitter, dry, woody, roasty, smoky and had a strong gritty black coffee element. Long dry wood, roasty, smoke and coffee finish. Medium body. Solid.
