Taster pour at Smoketown. Near black pour, small bubbly brown head. Smoky, roasty aroma. Taste is roasty, burnt toast, coffee, bitter.

Probably best well rounded beer here. Roast and just enough pine. Black pour with great head and lacing. Great creamy consistency. Bitter end. Good balance. Tap at brewery.

$2.99 can, Total Wine, Gainesville. Pours black - very black with an inch of soft brown head. Aroma is orange and grapefruit, roasted malt, rye, caramel. Flavor is roasted malt, orange peel and light juice, earth, caramel. Nice.
