Barley Brown’s Head Brewer Eli Dickison reunited with our former coworker Marks Lanham @comradebrewing to brew a collaboration beer for our 25th Anniversary. They brewed a golden summer ale using Luminosa hops grown by @colemanagriculture, @goldrushmalt pale malt and some torrified wheat.
The result is a 5.3% abv golden ale that is “full of brightness”! The Luminosa hops lay down a pleasant tropical fruit foundation with aromas of Peach-mango lemonade, candied orange peel, boysenberry, papaya and guava. This beer will be on tap at our 25th Anniversary Party this weekend

On tap at the BB taproom clear deep bright golden pour with a thin dense white head. Plain light pale malts with a little light sweet graininess. Modestly hopped.

Draft at Brewers Haven. Golden amber pour with a small off-white head. Malty aroma, dull, woody. Taste is more bland maltiness , kind of dry, odd citrusy notes, not much hop character. Seems like a disaster for such a big occasion.
