Capped 375, Blend No. 2, from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark ruddy amber with a transient beige head. Aroma is mildly sour, mostly cooking cherries. Med body at least. Flavor is sour/tart. Malt is toffee in a sour way. Flavor is the malt and mostly cherries - which seem to be of the cooking sort - some very lightly musty wood. Dry. Mildly bitter. Moderately tart/sour. Very good.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Nose is full of tart, dry cherries, lots of oak, and a hint of grape skins. Flavour follows similarly, with lots of tart grape skins, rich cherry pits, oak, and red wine. Very dry, with the dry cherries wonderfully expressed. Excellent.
