Every year we age a special batch of our much-loved Russian Imperial Stout in Bourbon barrels. The depth, intensity, and complexity of the flavor profile of this special release, like its predecessors, make it a worthy tribute to Old Rasputin. This year, two variants of barrel aged Old Rasputin were produced -- one in rye whiskey barrels, and the other in wheat whiskey barrels.

Stout Aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels. First release XVIII (2015).

Draught at Harry's Hofbrau in Redwood City. Licorice, chocolate, booze and barrel all over this thing. Jet black with slowly fading brown head that covers the glass with patterns all the way down the glass. Viscous.
