Starting with a perfectly executed Berliner Weisse base, we layered hundreds of hand-peeled and juiced lemons into the boil for citric oomph, then complimented this with the gorgeous whisky notes from a Cameronbridge single-grain Scotch barrel.
This beer is both bold and artfully balanced. Hot on the heels of the tart, lemony opening note is the warmth and delicious oaky character of a smooth scotch.
A stunning sour beer that is as thirst-quenching as it is intriguing.

From tap at Wee Vault, Edinburgh. Sourish with ripe fruits, subtle whiskey, tart stone fruits, orange. Light sour, subtle whiskey adds some complexity.

Keg at wee vault. Pours clear golden, nose is lemon, grapefruit, vanilla, honey, taste is zesty citrus, sweet, sugary. 7/8/7/7/7

330ml can. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a small head. Aroma is slightly ashy sour lemon and lime. Taste has sharp sour lemon and lime, with a little whisky. Like a grown up Sprite.
