Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: copper color with a light transparency about it. A finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off nicely but barely left any lace
Aroma: coriander, grapefruit zest, basil, and slightly sour-ed wheat
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a semi-savory to herbal and sweet and tart and a note of salt to a well rounded character; finishes with the grapefruit zest, basil and a pinch of salt
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning to being sessionable, some smoothness and the tart & sour factors are fairly tame
Overall: very nicely fruited sour/tart ale very worthy of returning to if possible.

On tap at Brew'd Craft Pub, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Nose is full of coriander and basil upfront, with some grapefruit rind and sea salt. Flavour is pungent on the basil upfront, followed by coriander, sea salt, and citrus zest. Dry, salty and extremely herbal — they certainly used a lot of basil here. Pretty good stuff.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours translucent dark gold with a decent white head that didn't last. Aroma of grapefruit, basil and salt. Med body. It's tart. Grapefruit, even zest, with basil and salt. Dry. Not exactly bitter, but the non-malt incredients really keep the wheat down. Just a little wheat in the finish. Interesting. Hard to find the wood. Good with Italian foods with tomatoes?
