Oak Aged Ale with Peaches, Nectarines & Apricots
The next best thing to that first bite of a peach at the peak of ripeness. The variety of stone fruits and prevailing notes of vanilla and toasted French oak impart a luscious elegance to this tart farmhouse-style ale.

Draft. Golden beer with a cream head. Tart and light peach aroma. Light sour and peach flavor. Medium bodied. Sourness and light acetic notes linger with peach and nectarine.

On tap at Portland Craft, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with a nice melange of stone fruits, gentle oak, and a touch of wild yeast. Flavour is loaded with tons of stone fruits, so much juicy nectarine and plum especially, with a little oak, and a touch of wild yeast. Lovely fruit character, tempered by a nice oaky character. Excellent.

375 c&c from Cap Tap. Pours a mild, persistent gusher of foamy whiteness over hazy orange/gold. Aroma of mildly tart pale prunus fruits - peaches are in it. Med body at least. Flavor is tart peach and mildly musty wood. Apricot notes. Lightly acidic. Makes me think of Brett, but I don't think Brett is in it. Dry. Tart. Fruity. Quite nicely done.
