Tap at Cap Tap. Pours clear, dark ruddy brown with a slight beige or tan head. Aroma of dark fruit. Full bodied. Flavor is dark fruit and dark malt, and a nice hit of port follows quickly. There’s spice in small amount, and a bit of wood that must be sought for. Maybe a slight bit of earth, or perhaps it’s slightly musty from the wood. Not dry. Not bitter. Excellent flavor.
