On tap at Villi Wäinö, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a large beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, a touch of vanilla, and bready malt. Flavour is dry, with lots of bready malt, toasted bread, and a touch of vanilla. Very dry, with a bready finish. Good.

440ml can, IBU 40, bought at Alko Kilpishalli. Remaining fawn-coloured head over a near-clear dark brownish body, dotted spots on the glass. Toffee and caramel on the nose, mid-sweet. Moments of caramel, cocoa, and grain to the taste profile. Roasted bitter endnotes. Medium bodied. Straightforward version of the style. (Tromsø, 20.09.2025).

Mild smell of roasted malt. Black colour, light brown head. Aroma of ashy malt, caramel, some licorice. Ashy finish. Bitter. Soft carbon, dry palate, light body. Could benefit from higher ABV.

Can ordered by my cousin from Alko. Aroma has coffee, sour cream and dark chocolate. Dark with a cola tint. Thick foamy beige head. Medium bitter with a sour edge. Matches aroma with added berries. Followed up by molasses and a creamy sweetness. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Flat-average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable if not overly exciting.
