Word on the street is, California knows how to party. We thought we’d take a page out of their book and throw a party of our own - in a can. We invited our best friends, Eukanot, Citra & Azacca, and introduced them to Vienna Malt, Windor Yeast, and a few others to see what would happen. Needless to say, it popped off. Our West Coast Hop Lock is a perfectly balanced pale ale loaded with heavy hoppy aromas that leave you with a subtle but lingering bitterness. Reminiscent of the good ol’ days, this pale is the party we didn’t know we needed, but we all certainly deserve.

Too watery. Not too much flavour. Had a much better one from the same brewery a few minutes before. Check the date! It’s already 9 mths old. That’s borderline. Not so cool to sell it at full price.

Can from the Dry Drinker. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon and pine. Taste has good bitterness, a hint of something menthol. Bitter lemon finish. Missing a touch of malt to remind you it's beer-related though.

Can from.Landfall Tavern at local summer fete. Aroma is vinous, with sawdust and earth. Hazy-opaque amber. Foamy white head. Pretty bitter. Resinous. Grainy. Like licking rye flour or something. Slightly citrus edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. But it's like dusty elements are in there. OK.

19/10/2021. Can from 10 Beer Bottles, Wivenhoe. Pours clear deep golden with an amber tint and a short lasting frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, pithy orange, mango, wheat, touch of pine and cardboard. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Light body, slight oily texture, bit fizzy. Not their best, but still a decent alcohol free beer.
