7/2/2025. Cask at the 15th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear copper amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, biscuit, caramel, sweet malts, leafy, orange. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Smooth with soft carbonation. A very good ESB.

Bottle ordered from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Aroma is earthy, grainy... followed by sweet fruit. Murky opaque toffee brown. Thick foamy off-white head. Sweet caramel with a fruit touch. Followed by bitter grains and dark berries. The sweetness reasserts itself into the finish. Medium-heavy bodied. Oily. Flat-average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Chewy ESB.
