A fruity copper coloured extra special bitter (ESB) with a good amount of caramel and biscuit character, this is a great beer for drinking down the pub! An often understated beer style, this is one of James’ personal favourites. Called ‘Finally an ESB’ because James wanted to brew one for ages before we released this beer, it originally started out as a seasonal special before becoming part of the core range due to its popularity.

Bottle ordered from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Aroma is earthy, grainy... followed by sweet fruit. Murky opaque toffee brown. Thick foamy off-white head. Sweet caramel with a fruit touch. Followed by bitter grains and dark berries. The sweetness reasserts itself into the finish. Medium-heavy bodied. Oily. Flat-average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Chewy ESB.
