Brewed with a combination of carefully selected British heritage malts and locally sourced Fuggles & East Kent Goldings hops, we finished off our nod to tradition with our house yeast - bridging everything together whilst adding gentle fruity esters.
The result is a Bitter that is beautifully copper in colour, with a velvety soft mouthfeel. Take a moment to savour this traditional, southern style best bitter in front of a roaring fireplace with your favourite pub snack.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 20th March 2026. Brown with shallow foam and spot lacing. Nutty maltiness throughout. Very agreeable. Light bodied with a velvet smooth mouthfeel.

Can bought at Elusive. Aroma is nutty, earthy, with a sour berry edge and almost coffee notes. Opaque medium brown. Thin white head provides the scantest of Hammer horror nightie coverage. The flava had berry sharpness over sweet and nutty malts. There are herbal notes (or is the VK I just drank screwing up my tastebuds?). Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation with a fizzy limp. Long finish. Nice enough if a tad sweet.
