Can ordered from Malt Miller, Swindon. Aroma combines dough, light grains and a citrus edge. Opaque light gold. Foamy translucent white head soon thins out. Citrusy. Sour, if not overly so. Underlying bready maltiness. Metallic hints. Develops a sugary streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Quite refreshing. Certainly not a trad Golden Ale, I guess what you get if a modern brewery has a go.

440ml Can - Golden with a slight haze and a foamy head. Floral hops, honey, hints of orange and some slightly earthy notes in the aroma. Typical golden ale taste, which is not a bad thing, with notes of honey, grain, floral hops and faint hints of marmalade. Not bad as far as nostalgic retro beers go! :)
