Mosaic cryo and Simcoe. Fleshy fruitiness from two hops we’d put in the top tier. Dank, juicy and silky smooth. Also our first go at a Japanese method called “dip hopping” to extract even more flavour.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 29/03/23. Almost clear golden blonde with a just off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, grass, pine needle, melon, soft malt base. Taste comprises orange pith, hint of stoned fruits, grass, light pine, ripe melon, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Tidy enough pale.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A clean bright yellow gold coloured pour with a rocky white head. Aroma is odd grassy, chive, onion, plastic, bready grains. Flavour is composed of soft rustic bready grains, grassy citrus, light dank, chive, crisp finish. Palate is super crisp, fine carbonation. Decent.

Can from Utobeer, Borough Market. The aroma combines stone fruit, citrus, flour and fried onions. Hazy-opaque gold. Thick frothy foamy white head. Medium bitter and citrus. A dryness to it. Develops some sweet stone fruit. Sherbert. Underlying floury/malty streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation, it has a lazy prickly fizzy element. Crisp and dry Hazy Pale. Light and refreshing.
