Bottled@PBF XII (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Black colour, brown head. Aroma is toffee, some herbs, mild yeasty tones with some smoked tones. Flavour is smoked malts, some fruity and floral tones with a wee bit rye like elements too.

Aroma røyk,malt, karamell. Utseende sort med beige skum som varer. Smak røyk, malt, kaffe, sjokolade. Røykpreget øl med medium fyldighet og god maltsødme. god til å være røykøl. Jan -18

Black with a brown head - Malt aroma with hints of smoke - Malt body with roasted notes with hints of coffee, chocolate and smoke - The malt, chocolate, coffee and hints of smoke in the finish - This was good

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XII Tasting.) by oh6gdx ] - Petalax, Finland. [ As Færder Røkelse ].Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, smoked, burnt, light ash. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively. Sadly the beer is a bit over carbonated .. and a bit ashy in the flavor. [20180707] 6-3-7-2-13

Bottle 330ml in pbf xii. Opaque colour, small beige head. Toasted, a bit licorice aroma, not much smoke. Medium-bodied. Wood, smoke, licorice, fizzy carbonation. Overcarbonated.

33cl bottle @PBF XII. Poured dark brown color with a thick off white head. Pleasant smoky aroma, sweet malts, light roastedness. Flavor has smoke, sweetness, roasty notes, chocolate. Pleasant.

Bottled at PBF XII. Near black, huge lively head. Mild smoky nose with some hazelnuts. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate and mild smoke. Low bitterness.

330ml bottle, batch B159, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A dense tan-coloured head with lacework on the glassware. Cocoa aroma, lightly smoked. Decent taste profile of cocoa powder, liquorice, and chocolate added by notes of smoked malts. Mid-sweet malty ending. Smooth in the mouth. Likable. (Tromsø 29.12.2017).

Huge brown lasting head. Opaque black body. Smoky toffee aroma with spicy wooden notes. Sweetish smoky mineraly taste with chocolatey notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Sweetish smoky chocolatey toffee aftertaste with mineraly notes. A bit restrained and low on flavour, but very harmonic and drinkable. A nice beer. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly. Batch #159.)
