24/2/2023. Tap at Three Wise Monkeys, Colchester. Pours clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, bready, biscuit, dried fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Oily, average carbonation. Also 2/10/2025. Tap at Three Wise Monkeys, Ipswich.

Tap at brewery. Aroma.has citrus rinsed yeast. Clear dark brown. Creamy white head. Sweet and malty - grains, caramel and glue. Light-medium bodied. Chewy malty finish. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough but basic.
