Aroma has roasted notes, coffee and licorice. Flavour has well roasted malt, some salty licorice, coffee notes and hints of soy sauce. Quite good for a 6,5% stout and one of the best StaPa beers.

Dark brown, almost opaque color, decent creamy tan head, lace. Coffeish, dark malty, but sticky burnt aroma. Medium to full bodied. Black coffee, dark roasted malts, cocoa and milk sugar. Long toasted aftertaste. Drinkable, but quite straightforward.

Draught at Olutkellari Helsinki. An excellent stout with a full body and a heavy roasted taste.

(Draught at Olutkellari Helsinki) Poured black with medium sized and light brown head. Aroma contained roastedness, coffee, liquorice and sourness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were roastedness, hops, ash, sourness, bitterness and hint of coffee. Aftertaste was dry, ashy and bitter. A really good brew from StaPa. Well done.
