Our Uncle Fritz came for a visit from Bavaria and brought a vast amount of German aroma hops with him! We used them to create a twist in our series of hazy pale ales. Hopped and dry-hopped with a huge amount of Mandarina Bavaria and Yellow Sub hops, the Uncle Fritz New England Pale Ale creates an explosion of apricot, orange and mandarin flavors in the palate.

Draught@Juova Hanahuone, Helsinki. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, wooden, some tropical fruits and mild pineapple to it. Flavour is quite similar to the aroma, but also has a nice resiny bitter edge to it.

33cl can. Bbe 09/11/21. Poured orange, unclear. Orange fruity notes, bit faded hops. Probably been in the fridge for a while. Rerate later if possible.

330ml can. Soft, fruity and slightly tropical with some tangerine, pineapple and mango. Decent. --- Beer merged from original tick of Uncle Fritz New England Pale Ale on 28 May 2021 at 20:55 - Score: 7

(Keg at Juova, 20210521) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had orange peel, mango and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were orange peel, grapefruit, mango, spiciness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bready, spicy and bitter. A decent hoppy brew with unpleasant bready notes.
