Bottle ordered from Beer GB, Cumbria. Aroma is smoky with liquorice and molasses. Darkest brown. Thin foamy beige head. Flava has initial smokiness with light bitterness. This is then followed by some cardboard malts before being rescued by sweet molasses and a dark berry edge. Light-medium bodied. Oily if thin oil. Long slightly astringent finish. Nice but a tad muted.
