Can from Tick Beer. Pours amber with moderate sized off-white head, nice retention. Aroma of metal, pine resin, pear. Taste starts very astringent, resinous, vegetation, some stone fruitiness. As time goes on the astringency is reduced and the beer tastes more balanced. Just shy of medium body, mouthfeel is ok. Below average but not the stinker I thought it was going to be at first.

Can bought at Wine Rack, Burpham. Aroma combines citrus and resin for spiced marmalade result. Hazy amber. Foamy microbubbled white head. Heavy bitter. Resin and quinine. With a sour streak taste does contain some citrus sweetness. Spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Punchy bitter IPA.
