As a Polish beer style, we aptly named this beer after the original protector of the fields in Polish folklore. Polewnik is a deep, rich porter fermented with lager yeast and cold conditioned for 5 weeks.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Aromas of liquorice toffee, coffee, dark chocolate, touch of dark fruits. Tast is very similar. Sweet malty finish.

Can ordered from the brewery. Aroma is malty with a sweet berry streak. Gains liquoriceand coffee. Dark - cola brown. Frothy foamy beige head. Rich liquorice , coffee and malty chocolate. Tangy berry complimented by sweet molasses. Light-medium bodied. Slick with a small pour of cream. Flat-average carbonation. Long somewhat dry finish. Hits the spot.
