As we build confidence in our quick sour beers, we're experimenting more and more with what they can be. This time we've unashamedly headed to the pastry section with additions of pear, blackberry, cinnamon sticks and rye malt.

Can ordered from the brewery. Aroma is certainly reminiscent of a crumble albeit with a particularly tart and funky streak. Hazy purple tinged pink. Thin foamy translucent white head. Heavy sour - that blackberry and a vinous streak. Underlying sweetness has pear. Medium bodied. Slick with a pear pithy mouthfeel. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Enjoyably fruity and sour.

Keg at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Pinkish red pour with a light pink head. Most certainly pear & raspberry in the aroma with a spot of red cherries, strawberry jam. Tart taste of pear, cherry sherbet, raspberry, rhubarb. Sweet desserty finish with a tart backbone.
