Bottle from Beers of Europe. Swietne swiateczne piwo. Mnostwo przypraw, rozgrzewajaca w smaku pieprz, posmak rozgryzionego ziela angielskiego, gozdziki, nieco ostrosci papryczki chilli. W zapachu budyn czekoladowy posypany kurkuma i startym imbirem. Super wrazenia smakowe. Po kilku lykach policzki wnet rozowieja od przypraw. Wyglad to gleboka czerwien, sporo mglistej metnosci, no i spora puszysta piana, trwala. Wytrawny i rozgrzewajacy finisz. Doskonale, nie tylko w swiateczne wieczory

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe, shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours amber-brown, light haze, decent, just off-white head. Smells like the pot-pourris M&S used to sell at Christmas time in the mid 90s, cinnamon and ginger. Some nutmeg too. Taste is bitter, in a spice way. Faint sweet caramel at the back. Not bad, but couldn’t see myself sinking many.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber to brown with a lovely fluffy head. Nose - nutmeg and ginger. Brown bread. Taste - more of the same. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good but the quantities of spice make it difficult to work out the malt and hop flavours and because of this it is rendered somewhat one dimensional.
