ABV: 6.7%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, bourbon - vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, bourbon, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, wood, bourbon - vanilla. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are bourbon vanilla, roast malt, caramel, chocolate, fruits and has a warming finish.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and a hint of bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 201018

Tried at the Nottingham beer festival. Very dark ruby colour with a tan head. Sweet bourbon aroma and taste. Thin slightly watery body.
