A substantial pale ale taking the best characteristics of an IPA. Enticing aromas of hops and overtones of citrus.

Cask (gravity) @ #RHBCF2018 🧙🍻🇬🇧 [ The 11th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival (The 43th. Nottingham CAMRA Beer and Cider Festival) ], The Motorpoint Arena, Bolero Square, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 1LA.
[ As Crackle Rock Crackatoa ].
ABV: 6.2%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, earthy, light plastic. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, plastic, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity hops - citrus. IMO: to much plastic to my liking ! Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181020]

Cask at Hants Oktoberfest, yesterday. Vague smoked malt aroma. Marmalade. Very thin white head. Fruity smoke taste. Unusual. Thin. Slick. Flat. Long. Smoked gold? Interesting enough.
