Pours a solid brown with beautiful ruby highlights when held to the light. Large creamy/bubbly off-white head made this difficult to pour. This beer is over carbonated. Smells of citrus hops, some chocolate and some roast. Taste follows the smell. Nice subtle malty roasty taste with some hops mixed in and a lingering chocolate in the aftertaste. Medium body, thin mouthfeel. This isn’t a bad brew, and were it not over carbonated it would have been a tasty almost sessionable brew. I suppose I should have tried this one fresher too.

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and citrusy as well as dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and both citrusy and dusty hops, as well as light notes of prunes.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Miver. Clear orangey brown with a tall, firm and lively shaving foam style beige head leaving some lacework. Spicy, roasted malt aroma. Medium body with hard roasted malts, lightly burned accents and a dry, lightly bitter finish. 010209

From bottle, blindtasting #6. Pours hazy and golden deep amber to brown with huge tan and slowly collapsing head. Dry malty and slight hoppy, vague yeasty note. Sweet malty, slight metallic touch. Light spice note and roasted caramel malt base. Ends with a light bitterness.
