ABV: 4.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, oat, chocolate, dark malt, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, oat, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, chocolate - coffee - dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181020]

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, hops and has a nice roasty finish.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Black with a brown head. Aroma is dry, roasted malt and licorice. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 201018
