[2021 vintage] 330mL bottle. Pours deep dark brown with small beige head. Aroma has a bunch of rye barrels up front with dark malts underneath. Flavour has a ton of rye barrels, well-integrated into the base stout, gentle smokiness. Not super complex, but still very enjoyable BA stout.

Poured from 330mL bottle (2021 vintage - side by side with glenora whiskey version). Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Dark fruits on the nose, rye whiskey showcased decently on the taste here. A touch more body compared to the glenora version.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of earthy rye whiskey, a little roast, and light booze. Flavour is dry and earthy, with soft, dry cocoa, rye whiskey barrels, and some earthiness. A little fuller than the Glenora version but still not terribly interesting. Solid.

Bottle at Black Christmas March 2022; vintage 2021
Dark brown colour. Not much aroma; good dark malts, dark sugar, but light body, evident alcohol. It's good, but with no complexity.
