This Tmavé Pivo-inspired beer offers mellow notes of roast coffee and red-fruit sweetness, rich off-white lacing, with Sarsaparilla and spice notes that add balance to its complex character.

Brown, head fades immediately. Tinny dry malt nose and palate with vague bitterness

On tap at Main Street, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt (more roasted than a typical dark lager) and crusty bready malt. Flavour has a dry, roasty malt base, with light earthiness, some toasted bread crusts, and basically no residual sugars on the end. Well-balanced, clean, dry, and bold for the style. Good stuff.

5oz pour at brewery. Pours murky dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is pretty much non-existant. Flavour has damp roasted malts. Mediocre dark lager.
