We mash this low ABV beer warmer than usual to retain the malt backbone. We then hop it with loads of Citra and Motueka to give aroma and flavour to a beer you can enjoy all day.

Can shared at Gremlin. Thanks Tohara-san! Pours a hazy orange. Nice citra forward nose with lots of pineapple and peach with more tropical notes. The body is great for 3.5 abv. Feels much more complex than the abv on the palate. Biscuity malts almost. More citrus notes, bright orange and a pithy bitterness. Green pineapple on the finish. Solid stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Session IPA on 08 Jul 2016 at 20:39 - Score: 7. Original review text: Citra and Motueka. Fantastic tropical nose....pineapple, peach. Feels heavier than 3.5. Really nice!

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber with a slight haze. Nose - orange mousse. Papaya. Taste - orange and passionfruit. Stalky. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry creamy but zingy finish. Overall - this is good. And only three and a half.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with a thick off-white head. No visible carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of burnt caramel, rust and dry grass. Flavour of metal, biscuit and a slightly sour finish. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Not very impressed with this. I expected something much more juicy and hoppy.

Can at home in London - picked up at the Mother Kelly’s bottle shop in Hackney. Pours hazed gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds tangerine meringue, lightly doughy pale bread, pine needles. Light sweet flavour with moderate rindy citrus character, more pale bread, pale grains, orange, tangerine, melon. Light bodied with average carbonation. The balance on the finish is good, with further orange rind, tangerine, peach, melon, lightly dried pale bread. A straightforward but quite solid SIPA.
