ABV: 4.3%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, spicy (Xmas spices + ginger notes), light to moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, spicy, ginger notes, light to moderate roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181019]

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. No head. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, christmas spices, fruits, malt and hops. Sweet finish.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Almost black with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, dark fruit and light ginger. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 191018
