Dark as Keji is a black IPA, so the colour is dark like the night sky, but the taste is bright like the stars,” says Boxing Rock co-owner Emily Tipton, who designed the recipe for the beer. “It’s a great beer to enjoy in the dark, it comes to life in your mouth with lots of roasty body and a terrific hoppy finish.”

473mL can. Pours black with beige head. Aroma has a nice bite of pine and some roasty malts. Flavour has good pine expression, roasty malt base, earthy. Good balance between the hops and malt; nice bite. Very solid.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has a nice mix of roasted malt and earthy hops -- pretty solid balance. Flavour is nice and bitter, with lots of medium roasted malt, bitter piney hops, and some earthiness. Aggressively bitter hops with a solid roast base. Excellent.
