On tap the Magnet, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of oats, dry cocoa, and some metallic notes. Flavour is very dry, with metallic notes, oats, and dry cocoa. Too metallic, somewhat dry, and a touch of cocoa. Rather lifeless and somewhat flawed. Not great.

5oz pour at brewery. Pours murky dark brown with beige head. Aroma has damp malts, gentle roast. Flavour has damp roasted malts, dry finish. I would have expected an oatmeal atout to have a richer flavour. Disappointing.
