On tap at Mariner, pours a clear dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma has dry toasted malt, and some muffled earthiness. Flavour is fairly dry, with toasted malt, some earthiness, and very gentle sweetness. Clean and reasonably constructed. Pleasant.

Poured from side pull @ Mariner. Very dark brown with small off white head. Mild roast malt, feint bittering and a hint of dark sugars. Average.

5oz pour at brewery. Pours very dark brown with beige head. Aroma has roasted malts and a bit of cacao. Flavour has nice roasted malts and a little touch of dark chocolate. Simple, but decent enough.
