A modern take on a traditional festbier made with Vienna, Munich and Barke pilsner malt and utilizing German Hull Melon, Callista and Ariana hops. Decocted and lagered long for wonderfully drinkability!

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark blond colour, clean. The aroma is too mild, just faint bread. The mouthfeel is round, full (for the style), with strong malt presence, toasty notes, breadcrust; the bitterness is not shy either, with some grassy and herbaceous hops. Long finish.
Good.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear gold with small white head. Lots of grainy bread crust, soft grassy hops in the background with a bitter finish. Quite nice.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma has bready malt and lightly sweet cereal grains. Flavour is fairly dry, with cereal malts, toasted grains, bread crusts, and finishes with a pronounced bitterness. Bready, nicely malty and yet quite dry and bitter on the finish. Very good.
