A hazed golden blonde DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, dank notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, loads of tropical fruits, light pineapples, light doughy character, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Hautes Plaines location.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours rather hazy deep gold with a thick white head and heavy lace. Aroma is nice mixed citrus melange, some peach and pineapple, herbal and grassy, a little dank edge to it, bready malt. Flavour is citrus and pineapple up front, bready/doughy malt, zesty and a little juicy, but the citrus peel bitterness really takes over from the middle on, rather astringent, a little doughy/powdery, not really green but just too grippy (Riwaka?) with a bit of a dry palate-killing vibe in the finish and aftertaste. Medium-plus body, fairly creamy carbonation, but that finish... Wished this had a little more balance, it wasn't a crazy fresh can (~2mo) but that didn't seem to be the sole reason why.
