ABV: 4.2%. Cloudy dark black - red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate - milk chocolate - light to moderate vanilla. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, chocolate, sweet malt, milk chocolate - vanilla. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181018]

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and light vanilla. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 181018

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and hops. Roasty finish.
