ABV: 5.0%. Light cloudy dark brown colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, light to moderate coffee, tart, oat, light sour. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic - sour with a average duration, sour - tart, dark malt, roasted, light coffee - chocolate, oat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181018]

18/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours very dark brown with a small beige head, good looking beer. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, treacle and slight sour notes. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness and slight sourness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, hops and has a roasty malty finish.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet and slightly sour. Dry and slightly sour finish. 181018
