330ml bottle [as PARTiol Dunkel; courtesy of Bernd - thanks a lot!]. Slightly cloudy, dark chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Slightly nutty, toasty and minimally spicy, dark malty aroma, hints of coffee surrogate, some dark caramel, whiffs of silage, liquorice, . Taste is toasty, nutty, slightly chocolately, dark and minimally caramel malty with subtle residual sweetness, hints of coffee, coffee surrogate, a touch of toffee, Brazil nut, mildly bitter, hoppy counterpart, very subtle tartness. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively beefy, not exclusively exhibiting flattering flavours - not bad.
