On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear dark amber/brown color with a medium white head. A roasty chocolate nose, some ash. The flavor is roasted malts, dark chocolates, bitter hops, light pine, a robust dark beer. More porter than IPA.

Deep brown color, small steady beige head. A bit coffeish aroma. Light to medium-bodied. First impression is: spices. Then some coffeish, hoppy flavors. Not one of the best CDAs in the town, Unbalanced.

Draught. Almost completely black with white head. Ringed lacing. Piney aroma. Not much roast in the full bodied flavour, leans to the IPA side rather than the black. Full bodied hop finish. The blackboard said 7,7 per centum, the site says 7.
