This Best Bitter is a homage to a classic beer style from our Great British brewing past. We use 5 different malts to build a robust malty back bone and balance it with traditional UK hops. By celebrating the past we also pay homage to Steve's late grandfather who can be seen with two Shire horses on the label. In bottle this beer is Vegan

Many thanks to Simontomlinson for this bottle. Smooth mild beginning. Easy to drink, malty and fruity, not too dry, fruity with hints of hazelnuts. Moderate bitter, nice round and malty in the end. Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Settle. Copper-amber with a very thin head and there's a small carbonation involved too. Light tasting with a similarly inoffensive texture in this respect, although it has a fairly ordinary taste. Certainly a bitter in style, but not that bitter in real terms. Has an extremely mild sweetness in its nose.

Cask pour at the Brew Room. Amber with tight, creamy head. Aroma doesnt give anything away, neutral. Taste brings mild maltiness. Kind of bland, but super smooth.
