Half-pint, cask ale at Hop in Wakefield. A ruby-black body, remaining beige head, clingy lacing. Chocolate aromas, nicely roasted. Taste of creamy chocolate added by dark fruity notes. Roasted malt hoppy ending. Smooth on the swallow. Like it. (04.07.2019).

Cask at Wildcat 2.0; dark brown pour with a small beige head, aroma has sweet fruits and bourbon, taste has sweet sugar, slight fruit, bourbon, some chocolate, ok

Cask at Ealing Beer Festival 2019, Ealing, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, coffee, caramel aroma and taste.

Cask @ Coracle, Ironbridge. Pours black, creamy mocha head. Aroma sees roast and subtle pine. Taste relies on coffee, dry roast and well-integrated pine hop. A touch earthy and woody, but remaining gentle on the palate. Decent india stout.

Cask at MBCF. Light brown blotchy cover on a jet black soft body. Roast, slightly burnt & nut aroma. Medium bodied, soft & smooth. A bit thin on the back. Berry, malt, demerara, roast tastes with a citrus finish.

Craft TCR Bottleshare. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Dry thin dark malts, mild roast and a little earthy coffee. Very modest fruits. Dry finish. Ho hum.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Black with a head. Mostly roasted malts, the hops are not that evident apart from the slight dryness that exists to its texture. Despite this it remains a smooth tipple and is mildly sweet.

ABV: 5.0%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate - cocoa, light bourbon oak. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, sweet dark malt, fruity malt, wood, light chocolate - cocoa - bourbon. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181017]

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, hops and has a nice hoppy finish.
