ABV: 4.6%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, toasted - roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, light bread. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, bread, dark malt, toasted - roasted, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181017]

Tried at the Nottingham beer festival 2018. Deep almost black colour with a white head. Aroma light chocolate and slight basement. Taste light chocolate bitter. Medium body.

26/4/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours dark mahogany brown with a foamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, dark fruits, light coffee, toffee and liquorice. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation.
