As "Kalajoki Bay Irish Red". Amber colour, good off-white head and lace. Caramalty, flowery, malty aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Caramalt, earthy hops, a bit of mentholy too, decent maltyness. Ok. Nordmarket, Näätämö.

330ml bottle as Irish Red Ale, kindly shared by Finn. Dark reddish-brown body, fair off-white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Brown malts and dark fruits on the nose, mid-dry, inviting. Fine mixed taste of earthy malts, caramel, and red fruits. Lightly roasted ending. Quite well bodied. Like it. (Sunday session at Vervet, Tromsø, 07.09.2025).

Negligible smell. Dark amber colour, high off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, nuts, candy apple. Foamy carbon. Medium sweet. Good one. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Irish Red on 11 Jul 2025 at 20:42 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.
