330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Fawn-coloured, low head, firm lacework, black in body appearance with a deep ruby tint. Malt-driven smell, nuts and earth. Flavoured with cocoa, nuts and a backdrop of dark fruits. Slightly roasted ending. Dry and smooth mouth feel. Decent version of the style. (Tromsø 14.10.2017).

14.10.2017, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is strange sour-ish mineraly, weeds, hay, paper, old cellar, sawdust, alcohol, raw cabbage, ashes, burnt toast. Taste is sour-ish metallic, burnt toast, bloodlike minerals, weeds, paper, bark, alcohol, sour-ish roasted grain, metal tank, grass. Medium bitterness, harsh metallic mouthfeel. Drainpour!

Flaske fra polets nettbutikk, hjemme en fredagskveld: brunsvart med ok skum. Fin aroma av røstet malt, sjokolade og kakao. Deilig kaffepreget smak med litt sødme i anslaget, mørke sjokolader og et hint av syre i avslutningen. Balansert og elegant.
