Bottle, courtesy of Bergstaden. An umclear dark orange-brown beer with an off-white head. Herbal, sweetish aroma with bread and toffee. Some roasted malts and notes of alcohol. It's full-bodied and semi-sweet, yet sort of dryish, at least in the end, with a soft and perhaps a bit low carbonation level. Caramel, bread crust, roasted malt notes, herbs and sweetish fruityness. Some liqueur notes. Long fruity, bready finish with dark dried fruits and caramel. I find it interesting to use St. Hallvard barrels, but overall it's not the most interesting beer to be found. For sure. 180602

Clear nutty color with a decent off white head. Really mild aroma. Mostly caramel with some fruity notes. Medium body and an ok carbonation level. Decent sweetness and a moderate bitterness. Caramel malty, herbal and mild fruity flavor. Stored in oak barrels? Ehhh hmmm. Decent mild dark lager.
