Bitter in name, APA in reality. And a dry APA at that. Pours a medium dark yellow, little bit of red tinges. Small fizzling wheat colored head. Aroma of slight hops, maybe some peppery wheat flavor. . . Begins sharp and spicy, with lots of dry clean light hops flavor. I emphasize light. More of a barley/wheat taste and even then, somewhat light. Not much really goin on here until the finish. The hops come out slightly, with a mild mix of something cascade-like. But the body is light and there is that good old american metallic bitter taste. They served it so damned cold that I didnt really let it warm. Improved slightly though towards end, maybe some malt coming out? Had sediment in it and for that I was impressed. I'll have to get it again when I'm less rushed and see if it improves upon warming to a better bitters temperature.
